About The Mad Hatter's Room
The Mad Hatter's Room is a community room that serves both as a meeting room and a music venue. While it is not large, it is intimate and comfortable (not to mention, affordable). There are scheduled events that regularly occur like Open Mic on Friday nights, music and other artistic gigs on Saturday nights. Each week there are regular AA meetings with additional meetings spread out through the week.
The Mad Hatter's Room is available for rent by outside groups or individuals. Doing gigs or a shorter set at Open Mic is always available to any individual or group. The uniqueness of the Mad Hatter's Room is that it is an alcohol and smoke free venue. Typically gigs are scheduled earlier to accommodate those who have other later night plans. The manager of the Mad Hatter's Room is Alice of Wonderland, but her real name is Andrea Athey. Andrea serves as the scheduler for her venue. To reach Andrea call (319) 339-0401.
